ON-SITE AUCKLAND GARDEN DESIGN COACHING (Auckland only)

The ’Coach Me’ session is intended as a standalone service, so you’ll come out the other side armed not only with great ideas for your Auckland garden, but also a treasure trove of tips and insider information to help you achieve your garden goals without 'having a plan done'.

  • Following the on-site session, you will receive a written checklist of the top things to do to improve your garden, along with our in-house design tips for your implementation and click-through links to source any of the suggested finishing materials and garden components that will upgrade your outdoor spaces.

  • Developing a site-wide planting scheme requires a plan service, however ‘Coach Me' is suited to inform simple planting outcomes. The follow-up notes include suggestions for plants suited to achieve your garden aims, and a copy of our DIY Planting Guide.  This contains information on site preparation for planting, planting tips and helpful info on plant purchasing. The comprehensive  written follow-up information is where ‘Coach Me' differs most from our popular 'Walk & Talk’ Consultation.

The ‘Coach Me’ Session is best suited to the DIYer because if you plan to engage a contractor, they’ll typically want a garden plan to quantify and work from. In which case, you’d be better off starting your project with a ‘Walk & Talk’ consultation.

QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE...

How soon can you visit my property for my coaching session?

Autumn and winter coaching sessions are usually scheduled a minimum of one week in advance. In peak season (spring and summer) lead times may be as long as 3 -4 weeks, so we advise you to book early to avoid disappointment.

You're welcome to give us a call to check lead times or book a slot before purchasing the service.

Do I get a plan after my coaching session?

Landscape plans require considerable thought and time to prepare and therefore are not able to be included as part of the coaching session.  However, a checklist is provided to you as a plan of attack and a record of the ideas discussed.

Do you offer a free onsite consultation service?

Our lead designer's time is valuable and charged accordingly, therefore all consultations, coaching sessions and site visits incur a fee. If you'd like a complimentary chat, you're welcome to book a call back or just give us a call at your convenience.

If I live in Auckland, but outside of your defined  'local Auckland area', can I still book an onsite coaching session?

In this scenario, just give us a call or email to let us know your address. We'll simply calculate the cost of the additional travel time, add it to the standard consultation fee, and if you're okay with the extra cost, we'll send you an invoice.

If the cost doesn't align with your budget, consider our Ask-An-Expert online garden design consultation as an alternative.
