🙃𝗜 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲!

Irresistibly shaggy, Acacia cognata 'Fettuccini' (common name - river wattle) is a tactile Aussie native plant that is easy to grow and care for (if a little pricey 😅).

🌞 Sun-loving (and also happy in semi-shaded situations) drought-tolerant, and perfect for adding textural interest, acacia shrubs are worthy of a spot in your garden. Acacia are also very well suited to growing in pots, which is a great idea if you have dogs, as they do seem susceptible to urine burn 🐶😭

🌿They have gorgeous lime green foliage year-round. The new seasons growth has cattractive coppery tones, before it matures to the fresh lime-green colour.

🤔The only other problem is which one to choose…

‘Fettuccini' has wider, more heavily rippled foliage than the fine, soft foliage of ‘Limelight’.
